Registration: Click the link at the bottom of each event listing above. Some links will take you to an online form; others will open an email for you to indicate your intent to attend and give your contact information. Some events will offer tickets; others simply have you sign in when you arrive.
Cost: Every Keep a Smile On Your Faith™ event is FREE, but you must register in advance. (A love offering will be taken at the event.)
Seating: Tables seat 6-8 women. Fill up one, two or even three tables with women from your church, book club, Bible study, home group, workplace, neighborhood or family tree! A trained volunteer Table Leader is provided for each table. Though seating is free, it is also limited. Please be courteous and reserve seating for confirmed attenders only. If you wish to be seated with specific people, include their names when you register.
Leaders: Women's ministry directors may choose to attend the retreat (perhaps with a team member or two) as they prayerfully consider booking the retreat in their own churches or communities. They will be seated together for bonus networking. (Please mention that you are a WM leader when you register.)
Meals: Complimentary beverages and snacks will be offered during breaks at the event. When the event includes a Friday evening, usually desserts are offered that night. Sometimes breakfast is offered on Saturday. The lunch break on Saturday is about 45 minutes. Check with the individual host about further meal details or if you have any food allergies.
Travel: To attend our event when it's in the Kansas City area, getting here by plane or train is usually very affordable. Use airport code MCI (not KCI) to book your flight using online fare finders (Google "cheap tickets"). Many hotels offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Contact us if you need help.

What to expect: There are five teaching segments that run from 25-40 minutes each. After each session is Table Time -- about 30 minutes seated at an assigned table to discuss the teaching material and do creative activities. (Some events will have five Table Times; others may have fewer due to time constraints. Regardless, each event will have five teaching sessions.) A trained volunteer Table Leader will guide your table through the questions and activities. You will receive your table assignment when you check in at the event.
What to bring: Each woman attending will receive a free journal to take notes in, so bring a pen or pencil. If you have a Bible, please bring that as well.
What to wear: Dress casually! You can't go wrong in a great pair of jeans. Check the weather report to see if an umbrella or jacket is needed by clicking here.
Child care: Unless the hosting church specifies otherwise, there is no provision for child care.
Handicapped access: Each event venue posted here can accomodate wheelchairs in the parking areas, main auditoriums, restrooms, and eating areas.
When is the next event?
Debi and Fawn are working with many event planners and women's ministry directors to book the retreat in 2010 and 2011. As soon as dates are 100 percent confirmed, we will post them here. Get the news immediately by subscribing to our blog or following us on Twitter (debiandfawn).
Additional locations under consideration are Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas. Add your state. We have also been invited to present this event in Zimbabwe and Germany.
To reach as many women as possible, Debi and Fawn encourage churches to work together as co-sponsors of the event. Churches of all sizes can benefit through cooperative ministry and bless women beyond the walls of their own buildings. If this possibility interests you, read the special offer. See all the FREE resources we provide for event planners. Then, contact Debi and Fawn with your booking inquiry.
Meanwhile, please support Debi and Fawn as 2 Thessalonians 3:1 says:
"Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you."
